Jumeirah Campus
Head’s Welcome
Welcome to Primary at Jumeirah. At JESS Primary, we don’t simply prepare students for their lives ahead. We give students an education and the opportunity to fulfil their potential, while experiencing a nurtured, active education. Above all else, we are student-centric with a key focus on responsibility. JESS pupils are dedicated and conscientious in their learning, and as we discover the brilliance in every individual, we empower them to act with purpose, delivering our mission of ‘educating to make a difference in the world’.
Students, teachers, and parents work closely together to build community through respect and a sense of belonging. Time within our community gives families an intangible connection with each other and the school for the rest of their lives; to be part of a JESS education is a truly wonderful thing.
As a not-for-profit school with over 45 years of experience in the UAE, we have grown with the country, adapting to the ever-changing surroundings. We provide a forward thinking, innovative, and cutting-edge approach to education that achieves academic and pastoral excellence.
I welcome you to take a tour of the school, to better understand our provision for the children. I know that you will see many happy students and staff working together for the best for each individual.

Campus and Facilities
In the heart of Al Safa 1, in Dubai, our Jumeirah campus, built in 1976 is a set of low-rise buildings, surrounded by greenery and outdoor play areas that offer all our primary students the opportunity to learn both inside and outside of the classroom. From the classrooms, our students have unrivaled views of the Burj Khalifa yet they can still run on grass, climb our trees and find shelter under the branches and shared play areas from the Dubai sun. This is why our Jumeirah school is known as the green oasis in the heart of the city.

Progress and Performance
Consistent gains propel TIMSS rankings
Conducted every four years by the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA), the TIMSS (Trends in Maths and Science Study) evaluates the academic performance of students in Year 5 and Year 9 globally. This study allows schools to compare their students’ achievements against international benchmarks and learn from the experiences of others in designing effective policies. In 2023, 64 countries and 8 regional entities participated.
The 2023 results show an upward trajectory of achievement for JESS Jumeirah, with a 6-point increase in Mathematics and an 8-point rise in Science performance.
These exceptional results reflect our ongoing commitment to not only meeting but exceeding international benchmarks to provide a world-class education for our students.

Always Guided by Our Values
