House System
The House system at JESS plays an important role in the school, providing students with the opportunity to collaborate and compete against each other while representing their house. Importantly, it also drives a sense of connection for students as they engage in activities in new social circles that cross year groups.
Each student that joins JESS from Foundation to Year 13 is allocated a house. Our House System helps foster community cohesion, provides opportunities to connect with students in a range of year groups whilst allowing students to support each other both socially, emotionally and academically. Through this system we cultivate achievement through celebrating success, offering opportunities for all, igniting a sense of positivity, and striving for excellence as one of our JESS Core values.
