Emirati National
Applications by Emirati Nationals
Please note that as per our admissions policy, if you are applying to join our waiting list as an Emirati National, the student will be required to take Arabic A as a subject. Should the applying Emirati family be Muslim, the student will also be required to take Islamic A as a subject.
Before you apply
Please note that we are full, and our waiting lists are over-subscribed in most year groups. That means that even though we are accepting applications from Emirati Nationals, these are merely applications to join our waiting lists.
The main entry points into JESS Dubai are FS1 and Year 7. Aside from those year groups, occasional seats become available in other year groups only if a current student leaves, in which case we will offer that place to the next student on our waiting list. This means that if you are applying for more than one child, and they are not applying for FS1 or Year 7, they are unlikely to be offered a place at the same time, since occasional places are only ever available based on another student leaving.
We are unable to advise on how long it will take to move up the waiting list/be offered a place since this information is dependent on students leaving JESS.
To find out more about our waiting lists, please refer to our Admissions Policy.
